#406 closed defect (fixed)

Pressing [TAB] key won't increase (un)ordered list level in Internet Explorer

Reported by: david Owned by: gogo
Priority: normal Milestone: 2.0
Component: Xinha Core Version: trunk
Severity: minor Keywords: list, level, indent, tab, ul, ol, ie, internet explorer

Instead, I'm jumping through the items following (submit button, then styles in the right pane etc). This works in Firefox. Shift-Tab doesn't work either. Use the example on the web site as a test case.

We shoudl probably trap (shift-)TAB in IE when inside an li and issue an indent/outdent

What about when not inside an li? In the example, IE behaves as described above, but FF inserts 3 fixed spaces and a space for a tab, and shift-tab jumps back and forth to the right panel. Would we change that in IE also? I'm wondering if it's worth bothering with, or should we just chalk it up to browser differences and let it go? I know it's good to have consistent behavior as much as (reasonably) possible, but this is pretty minor, and there is a way to increase/decrease indent in IE using the toolbar buttons.

Closed. Recent changeset disables tab in Internet Explorer. No tab, no issue.
